Job description

Location: Glasgow / Hybrid | Type: Part-Time | Salary: DOE

Caskade Drinks is on the hunt for a passionate and ambitious Project & Events coordinator to help shape the future of modern whisky culture.

We're a small but mighty team that believes whisky events can be fun, bold, and a little bit Rock 'n' Roll. Caskade Drinks is the home of the Scottish National Whisky Festival, our own line of creative independent bottlings, and a growing calendar of immersive brand events that bring the spirit of whisky to life in unexpected ways.

Following an internal restructure and a long-time colleague going abroad, we’re now looking for someone who can become the glue between our three key strands — whisky festivals, bottlings, and events — and take the reins on project delivery across the board.

The Role

With high-level oversight of our entire event and product pipeline. You’ll work collaboratively with our core team to ensure everything from whisky festivals and bottling releases to concerts and distillery events are delivered on time, on budget, and with style. You’ll also be our key connector — the person who keeps communication flowing between teams, suppliers, partners, and clients — while spotting new opportunities and pushing for creative excellence at every turn.

This isn’t a clock-in, clock-out gig. We want someone hungry, driven and excited by the idea of shaping their own path inside a company with limitless potential.

What You’ll Do

Scottish National Whisky Festival

  • Oversee delivery of all SNWF events, from planning to post-show reporting
  • Work with internal events and production leads to hit deadlines and budgets
  • Secure top-tier exhibitor line-ups and build relationships across the whisky industry
  • Innovate with fresh concepts to keep the festival brand bold and forward-thinking
  • Manage supplier and venue relationships
  • Own the event comms and admin (delegate lists, badges, info packs, etc.)
  • Work with marketing team to coordinate campaigns, on-site content, and digital integration
  • Deliver on sponsorship, branding and partnership commitments
  • Manage budgets, track performance and provide regular reports
  • Project-manage all bottling releases from concept to launch (past collabs include Del Amitri, Deacon Blue, Status Quo and Celtic Connections)
  • Source and assess casks for upcoming projects, managing the liquid portfolio
  • Coordinate with warehouses, bottling plants and suppliers
  • Liaise with distributors, report on sales and product performance
  • Support marketing with campaign materials, social media scheduling, and customer engagement
  • Lead creative campaign rollouts for on/off trade
  • Bring fresh thinking and trend insights to the table

Creative Brand Events

  • Continue to pitch and deliver branded events for distilleries and drinks clients (like the Meikle Tòir launch with GlenAllachie or Springbank x Travis)
  • Collaborate with our production manager and creative team to bring ideas to life
  • Build strong, friendly relationships across the whisky trade
  • Be a key contact point for partner distilleries, clients and brand managers
  • Pitch and secure new event contracts for launches, anniversaries and festivals (think Feis Ile, Spirit of Speyside, and beyond)
  • Dream up new concepts that fuse whisky with music, culture and storytelling

About You

  • You have experience in events, drinks marketing, or spirits brand management
  • You know the independent bottling landscape and have a sharp eye for detail
  • You thrive in fast-paced, multi-project environments
  • You're a natural communicator and collaborator — equally comfortable chatting to cask suppliers and creative directors
  • You're organised, budget-savvy, and solutions-focused
  • You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves when the pressure’s on
  • You love whisky — and get what makes the culture around it so special

Why Join Us?

We’re a passionate small team making whisky culture more creative, accessible and alive. This role offers loads of autonomy, the chance to put your mark on exciting projects, and grow with a company that's constantly evolving.
