Job summary

Co-op in Manchester is seeking a Project and Delivery Tools Officer to maximise the value of the tools that support project delivery and portfolio management across the organisation. You will be the go-to expert for our delivery tooling and help teams use Planview/KeyedIn effectively.

You'll work with DT&D to improve processes, maintain high-quality data, create training, and measure the impact of tooling improvements to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting, administering or improving project delivery tooling.
• Strong understanding of project, programme or portfolio delivery environments, including Agile.
• Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across teams.

We're looking for a Project and Delivery Tools Officer to join our Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) team and help us maximise the value of the tools that support project delivery and portfolio management across our Co-op.

In this role, you'll be the go‑to expert for our delivery tooling, supporting colleagues across DT&D to use our platforms effectively, consistently and confidently.

You'll work closely with teams and leaders to improve processes, maintain high‑quality data, create helpful guidance and training, and ensure our tooling continues to meet the needs of a modern delivery organisation.

What you'll do

• Lead the administration, configuration and continuous improvement of our project delivery and portfolio management tooling, currently Planview/KeyedIn, while helping shape the future evolution of our tooling landscape
• Act as the subject matter expert, providing support and guidance to colleagues across DT&D
• Act as a trusted adviser to project, programme and delivery teams, helping them identify the most effective ways to use delivery tooling to achieve their objectives
• Create and maintain training materials, guidance and onboarding resources that help colleagues get the best from our tooling
• Work with different user groups to identify opportunities to improve adoption, consistency and user experience
• Help measure and demonstrate the value delivered through tooling improvements, automation and process optimisation, using data and insights to support continuous improvement
• Help maintain high‑quality data that supports effective reporting, forecasting and decision‑making
• Analyse feedback, usage trends and business needs to identify improvement opportunities and inform future development
• Support the ongoing convergence of project and product tooling across the organisation

What you'll bring

• Experience supporting, administering or improving project delivery, portfolio management or similar tooling platforms (such as Planview/KeyedIn, Sciforma, MS Project, or similar)
• A good understanding of project, programme or portfolio delivery environments, including Agile and product‑led ways of working
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organisation
• Experience working with data, reporting or management information to support decision‑making
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into practical solutions
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work based on business value
• A passion for learning, sharing knowledge and helping others succeed
