Job summary

Co-op Digital is seeking a Project Assurance Officer to join the Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) team in Manchester. You will coordinate assurance activities, review governance processes, and use data to drive consistent, scalable assurance across the portfolio.

You'll support reviews, stage gates and reporting, helping teams deliver with the right level of governance and guidance, and contribute to evolving assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project, programme or portfolio assurance activities within a delivery environment.
• Good understanding of project delivery frameworks, governance processes and assurance principles.
• Strong planning, organisation and coordination skills.
• Experience working with assurance, project or portfolio data to identify themes and trends.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest in modernising assurance practices (e.g., AI) to improve processes.

• Prepare, collate and manage assurance evidence, documentation and reporting.

• Collaborate with assurance and delivery colleagues to drive learning and improvement.
• Contribute to evolving assurance standards, frameworks and approaches.

Project Assurance Officer

£40,000 to £50,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
