Job description

Contract: Full time, permanent, office based

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Support an exciting UK rollout and develop your career in purchasing.

Are you an organised administrator who enjoys keeping people, plans and information on track?

Join Envipco

and develop your skills while supporting our growing UK operation.

About Envipco

Envipco is an international recycling technology business with over 40 years’ experience developing reverse vending machines that collect drinks containers for recycling.

We are building our UK operation, preparing for the rollout of our machines and the infrastructure needed to support them. Joining now means you can help establish effective working practices and support a growing team, backed by the expertise of an experienced global business.

The opportunity

This permanent position offers variety and a clear next step.

Initially, you will provide administrative and coordination support to our mobilisation programme, with this assignment planned to run until 1 October 2027. As rollout activity reduces, you will transition into a Purchasing Administrator role within our Operations Support team.

Training and practical purchasing experience will be provided during mobilisation to prepare you for this transition.

What you’ll receive
  • Salary from £25,000 per annum.
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Enhanced company pension contribution.
  • A family-friendly culture and enhanced leave policies supporting work-life balance.
  • Training and experience to develop your purchasing skills.
Your role during the rollout

Working with the Programme Manager and colleagues across Operations, Field Service, HR, Finance and Supply Chain, you will:

  • Update schedules, action trackers, calendars and shared records.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes and actions.
  • Follow up deadlines and gather updates for programme reports.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and version-controlled documents.
  • Support administration for site surveys, installations, deliveries and operational handovers.
  • Coordinate onboarding, training arrangements and equipment requests.
  • Help track shipments and stock, highlighting delays or discrepancies.

You will learn our purchasing systems, supplier processes and approval requirements, gradually taking on

responsibilities including:
  • Processing approved purchase requests and raising accurate purchase orders.
  • Obtaining quotations and maintaining supplier and order records.
  • Monitoring deliveries and following up outstanding items.
  • Liaising with suppliers and colleagues about shortages, returns and order queries.
  • Supporting Finance with purchase order, goods receipt and invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintaining clear records of orders, approvals and supporting documents.

Throughout both phases, you will also provide general office support, including shared inboxes, meeting arrangements and approved travel and training bookings.

About you

You will have experience in administration, project support or operational coordination, together with:

  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining records, coordinating meetings and following up actions.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working across teams.
  • Good numeracy and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Initiative, discretion and a willingness to develop purchasing skills.

Experience with purchasing, suppliers, logistics or technical environments would be helpful, as would familiarity with Dynamics 365 or Business Central, but these are not essential.
