Job description

Are you a fast learner who thrives on solving problems and working in a dynamic, evolving environment? Do you enjoy building strong relationships and working with data to drive results? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

Advanced Water Infrastructure Networks (AWIN) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team. You’ll play a key role in supporting smooth communication and data management between developers, customers, and internal teams. This is a varied role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, learning on the go, and being part of a growing business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Project Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our administrative and customer service operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for non-billing enquiries during business hours, delivering excellent service and logging/escalating queries appropriately.

  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain internal systems and trackers, produce accurate reports, and ensure all data is kept up to date.

  • Administrative Support: Facilitate communication and information flow between developers, contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders, updating AWIN systems as needed.

  • Process Coordination: Support the development and improvement of internal processes, maintain key trackers, and assist with updates to system tools.

  • Team Support: Work closely with colleagues across departments, providing admin support for ongoing projects and new initiatives as the business grows.

  • Incident Support (occasional): Assist the out-of-hours response team during major water quality incidents, including helping to coordinate alternative water supplies.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a confident, organised, and enthusiastic individual who is keen to grow with us. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A quick learning mindset – ready to get to grips with new systems, tools, and industry processes.

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal, for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail – ensuring accuracy when handling data and documentation.

  • Good Excel skills – along with a willingness to work with other reporting tools.

  • The ability to multitask – managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience using GIS or SharePoint.

Why Join AWIN?

As a growing player in the NAV (New Appointment and Variation) water sector, AWIN offers the energy and innovation of a start-up with the backing of experienced industry professionals. This role reports directly to the Head of Commercial and gives you broad exposure across departments and projects — your ideas and input will be valued from day one.

If you're adaptable, data-savvy, and motivated by continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Benefits:

Our company is devoted to ensuring our staff receives a comprehensive selection of rewards and perks. We acknowledge that employment is merely a portion of our daily routine, and our objective is to provide our team members with a broad spectrum of versatile benefits that cater to their needs. We take pride in offering a diverse assortment of options to support all lifestyles, with a majority of these benefits accessible throughout the year. Our benefits/perks consist of:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Flexible Staggered Start/Finish Time
  • Life Cover
  • Attractive Holiday Allowance
  • EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme
  • Wellbeing Service
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Long Service Award
  • Learning & Development Opportunities
  • Retail Discount
  • Volunteering Schem
  • Buy Additional Holiday

And much more...

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and value diversity in all its forms.
