Nomad Digital is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our global team. This role involves supporting the business in accurate cost collection and driving margin improvements through project costing analysis. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of project accounts and apply revenue recognition methodologies across the group.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with and support project managers by advising on best practices in project accounting.
- Maintain accurate monthly project accounts for a portfolio of O&M and Delivery projects, ensuring compliance with IFRS15 standards.
- Prepare project budgets and forecasts, monitor adherence to budgets and cash milestones.
- Perform timely reconciliation of WIP and POA with the ERP system.
- Improve reporting processes and communicate effectively with project teams.
- Approve purchase orders in accordance with Delegation of Authority.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as required.
- Adhere to Nomad Values, Health and Safety guidelines, and ethical practices.
- Support sales and bid teams with bid cost models and tender processes.
- Manage KPI reporting for Programme Leads.
- Ensure compliance with project accounting and regulatory policies, including revenue and cost recognition.
- Challenge cost forecasts, promote margin protection, and collaborate with project managers on risk and opportunity management.
- Analyze project costing data to suggest and implement margin improvements.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
- Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting principles.
- Experience with long-term contract accounting.
- Experience in competitive tendering is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
