Cathie Associates, a leading international engineering and consulting company specialising in the offshore and nearshore sectors, is looking for a new Management Account / Project Controller who can add an extra plus to the team. This role will play a vital part in assisting with project controlling in an international environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Project Controller for engineering teams across the Cathie Group.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control project budgets, expenses and financial performance.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices to clients
• Monitor intercompany transactions.
• Monthly management reporting
• Departmental budget analysis and reviews with budget holders.
• Ad hoc analyses such as financial modelling, forecasting, and profitability assessments.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and internal controls in company-wide initiatives.
• Be part of the Business and Financial Controlling Team to ensure accurate reconciliations and recommend and implement best practices

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accountancy or similar preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Studying towards professional accountancy qualification desirable
• Knowledge of finance, accounting and budget principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong working knowledge of Excel
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch and French is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Business partner mentality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 advantage)
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
