The Supply Register is partnering with Tyne Coast College Group to recruit a dedicated Progression Mentor. This temporary role (initially until 31 October) offers 35 hours per week and a daily rate of pay, with a strong likelihood of extension beyond the initial period.
You will support learners to overcome barriers to education, focusing on attendance, wellbeing and progression, and work with safeguarding and inclusion teams to ensure positive outcomes.

This rewarding opportunity will see you working directly with learners, helping them overcome barriers to education, improve their wellbeing, and achieve their full potential. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis until 31 October, with a strong likelihood of extension beyond this date.
As a Progression Mentor, you will provide holistic support to learners across the college, focusing on attendance, engagement, wellbeing, and progression. You will work closely with students facing a range of challenges, including mental health difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and caring responsibilities. Through one-to-one mentoring, group interventions, and collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring learners remain engaged and are supported to achieve positive outcomes.
