GMCA is seeking a passionate individual to lead a program focused on engaging and supporting young people aged 15-18 in Greater Manchester. This role involves providing motivational support, developing partnerships, and enhancing the employability of participants through tailored educational opportunities. The candidate will be integral in reducing barriers to education and employment for diverse youth groups.

Your role:
Will be engaging young people aged 15-18 to provide motivational support and personal development as they progress their pathway to employment or back into education. The programme has a broad approach to removing barriers to employment for young people from a range of backgrounds such as complex safeguarding teams, looked after children/young people and transitional safeguarding or long-term unemployed. You will have responsibility for a case load of young people, working with them in a group and one to one setting.
Working to an assessment and performance framework that will support you to meet the individual action plans for each of your learners with a tailored set of objectives for each learner to help them become more confident, build resilience, become economically active or move into full time education.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is looking for an innovative and passionate individual to lead and deliver a bespoke programme to children, young people, raising the profile of GMFRS in support of the work and skills agenda across Greater Manchester building on the existing work through our pre employment offer of the Team programme.
The successful candidate will manage the delivery of personal development opportunities through education, advice and short courses that meet the identified needs of the children or young people. You will promote the delivery of a person-centred, strengths-based approach supporting a programme that empowers young people to build confidence to all whilst engaging working with partners to support a coordinated multi-agency approach to reducing risk and vulnerability for those adults, children, and young people on your caseload.
