Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a dedicated Progress Coach to support and drive key operational functions within a London FE environment. The role focuses on student retention, achievement and progression through targeted reviews and effective liaison with stakeholders, plus delivery of the College’s group tutorial programme.

You will join a supportive team committed to excellence, with opportunities for professional development and a strong emphasis on safeguarding and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Deliver the College’s group tutorial sessions for all Animal Academy Students.
  • Contribute to the continued development of teaching, learning and assessment materials as part of the College’s group tutorial scheme.
  • Be committed to professional self-development, through participation in-service training as necessary for the successful carrying out of the job.
  • Support Learners achieve their Minimum and Aspiration target grades by undertaking regular 1:1 review with a caseload of approximately 250 students.
  • Liaise closely with relevant staff, parents/carers and external stakeholders in supporting students identified as being at risk.
  • To comply with and promote College Health and Safety policies and procedures and to undertake recommended Health and Safety training as and when necessary.
  • Undertake such other duties as are commensurate with the grade of the post, as may be reasonably required at the initial place of work or at other locations in the College.

To support study programme student retention, achievement and progression through target setting, progress reviews, and effective liaison with other relevant stakeholders. To deliver the College’s group tutorial programme.

  • Undertake such other duties as are commensurate with the grade of the post, as may be reasonably required at the initial place of work or at other locations in the College.
