Bridgend College invites applications for a Progress Coach to join our supportive team. The role focuses on championing student progress, managing a person-centred learner journey for a cohort, and supporting wellbeing and core skills through the Learning Programme Promise.
We seek candidates with experience in a post-16 environment, capable of high levels of care, compassion and resilience when working with learners.

We have an opportunity for the right individual to join us in the role of a Progress Coach, joining our existing team at Bridgend College.
Job Purpose:
To champion student progress and success by managing a person-centred learner journey for a cohort of students, enabling them to be all that they can be.
To develop and support the personal, social and emotional wellbeing of students, building their confidence, resilience and core skills through the Learning Programme Promise.
We’re looking for candidates who have experience of successfully working with young people in a post-16 environment, with the ability to deliver high levels of care and compassion, taking a person-centred approach working with learners. You will also have diplomacy, tact and emotional resilience when working with challenging students. You will join a supportive team who are passionate about the learner journey.
Bridgend College recognises its responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. We apply a rigorous process of checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children and vulnerable adults. The above post is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce.
Registration as an FE Learning Support worker with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is a requirement for these roles and needs to be in place before the successful candidates can start.
