Job summary

High Speed Two Ltd is seeking a Reporting & Data Analytics Manager with hands-on Power BI capability to join its Programme Management Office in Birmingham. You will own the programme-wide Power BI reporting product that provides a single view across project controls, governance, finance and delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Power BI experience and ability to maintain and evolve dashboards.
• Strong data literacy and ability to interrogate large datasets and identify anomalies.
• Experience with enterprise reporting solutions across the organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex data to senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting data governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the existing programme-wide Power BI reporting product and ensure it remains accurate and fit for purpose.
• Maintain, update and evolve Power BI reports and dashboards to reflect changing needs.
• Combine project controls, delivery, finance, governance and other data into clear reporting.
• Interrogate complex datasets, identify anomalies and investigate data quality issues.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Support data assurance and governance alongside reporting and analytics.
• Develop reporting and insights understandable by both data specialists and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve the reporting product and user experience as the programme evolves.
