Job summary

The Youth Endowment Fund in Central London is seeking a Programme Manager on a fixed-term 18-month contract to deliver high‑impact youth-violence prevention initiatives.

You will lead funding decisions, oversee evaluations (including RCTs where relevant), and manage grantee relationships from due diligence through funding and monitoring.

The role reports to the Programme and Impact Lead and offers a £44,500 salary with hybrid working in Central London.

Responsibilities

• Decide which projects to fund and evaluate, delivering funding and evaluations to the highest standards.
• Assess funding applications, critically appraise delivery plans and budgets, and form recommendations to senior leadership on opportunities.
• Collaborate with grantees, external evaluators and internal teams to ensure activities are evaluable to high standards and well-supported.
• Monitor grantee performance, manage relationships and mitigate project risks throughout the funding lifecycle.
