Zusammenfassung

London Legacy Development Corporation is seeking a Programme and Policy Officer, Youth Sport and Violence Affecting Young People, on a fixed-term, full-time secondment. You will deliver sport-related programmes aligned with Mayoral priorities, manage budgets, and commission partners to achieve outcomes for London’s young people.

You will work across the Young London Team and with the Violence Reduction Unit, shaping safer, healthier opportunities for youth.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable experience of developing, managing and delivering large-scale, high-value programmes or projects within a complex organisational environment.
• Proven track record of delivering outcomes on time and within budget, ideally within services supporting children and young people.
• Strong knowledge of programme and project management methodologies, including planning, risk management, performance monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience of establishing and managing complex stakeholder relationships and partnerships to achieve shared objectives.
• Good understanding of policy relating to children and young people and supporting children and young people affected by violence

Aufgaben

• Leading the delivery of sport related programmes for the prevention of Violence Affecting children and young people in London programmes which align to Mayoral priorities.
• Managing programme budgets, forecasting expenditure and ensuring compliance with financial governance requirements.
• Commissioning and managing delivery partners, grants and contracts to achieve programme outcomes
• Monitoring performance, risk, safeguarding, quality assurance and programme impact.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, youth organisations, schools, charity partners and other stakeholders.
• Preparing briefings, reports and responses for senior leaders, Deputy Mayors and other key stakeholders.
• Supporting evaluation activities and using evidence and insight to improve programme delivery.
• Representing the organisation at meetings, events and partnership forums across the youth sector.
