Job summary

NHS England is seeking an enthusiastic Programme Manager to join the Transforming People Services Digital Solutions programme within the IAM portfolio. You will lead interdependent projects, establish governance, and drive delivery of digital HR services for staff across the NHS.

The role focuses on delivering system change, realising benefits for public health and working with subject matter experts to scope, plan, design and deliver projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing programme lifecycle of system change.
• Experience managing multiple projects with risks and issues.
• Experience in programmes that improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver significant programme or projects targeted at improvements in health outcomes for the public.
• Manage whole lifecycle of a programme of system change, ensuring governance throughout.
• Set up and deliver multiple projects within a programme, scope, plan, design and deliver with SMEs.
• Review project reports and risk logs, advising project managers on escalation.
• Manage the lifecycle of a programme containing multiple projects, reporting progress and escalating risks.
• Provide expertise of best practice project management methodologies.
• Ensure realisation of benefits for customers through planning and project outputs meeting programme requirements.
