Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to own end-to-end management of business demand and a diverse portfolio of initiatives.

You will qualify demand, develop business cases, and align investments with strategy, ensuring delivery across governance, benefits realisation, and risk management. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and multi-project oversight, with hybrid Glasgow-based work (3 days onsite) on a 12-month contract inside

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Experience managing business demand intake, project pipeline management, demand prioritisation, and portfolio planning.
• Strong understanding of portfolio governance, business case development, investment approvals, and project initiation processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and programmes with competing business priorities.
• Experience managing programme budgets, financial forecasts, cost plans, and investment expenditure.
• Strong understanding of resource and capacity planning across complex delivery environments.
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders, executive leadership, PMO functions, and technology delivery teams.
• Excellent programme governance, RAID management, reporting, and delivery assurance capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience using PPM tools such as Planview, Clarity, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Agile, or equivalent programme/project management certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of business demand, project initiation, and programme delivery across a complex portfolio.
• Act as interface between business stakeholders, portfolio governance, PMO, and delivery teams.
• Ensure incoming business demands are captured, assessed, prioritised, and translated into structured, executable projects.
• Provide oversight across full programme lifecycle from demand qualification to benefits realisation.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritised, financially controlled project pipeline.
• Ensure programmes delivered to agreed scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business outcomes.
