Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a large-scale data transformation across the organisation, coordinating data, technology and business teams from London or Glasgow. You will drive delivery through governance, stakeholder engagement and risk management, delivering regulatory and strategic outcomes in a complex, matrix environment.

The role demands expertise across data architecture, change delivery and senior stakeholder influence to ensure initiatives stay on track and aligned

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale data transformation programmes with data architecture, quality, governance and lineage.
• Experience leading multi-stream transformation programmes with governance, planning, risk and delivery management.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across matrix organisations to align teams and priorities.
• Regulatory, risk, compliance or remediation programme experience within financial services; Financial Crime background preferred but not essential.
• Experience in large financial institutions with multiple stakeholders and governance forums.

• Strategic focus: oversee day-to-day resource scheduling and deliverables.
• Time horizon: operate within a defined beginning and end for projects.
• Stakeholder management: communicate with project stakeholders and set expectations.

• Resource management: ensure project team has required skills and tools.
• Financial management: manage the project budget within constraints.
• Metrics: track completion of deliverables within scope, time and budget.
• Change management: handle scope changes and resource adjustments.
