Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the coordination and management of the Manufacturing Operations capital portfolio.

You will oversee a c.£100m annual portfolio across 26 sites, drive governance, reporting, and investment approvals while partnering with Finance and site teams to deliver value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a c.£100m annual capital portfolio, overseeing around 150 projects across 26 Manufacturing Operations sites.
  • Support the transformation of the Manufacturing estate, addressing HSE priorities, critical asset sustainment and strategic investment requirements.
  • Analyse complex portfolio and financial data, turning insights into clear reporting for senior leadership and site teams.
  • Track portfolio performance against plan, highlighting risks, variances and key actions across each Manufacturing business unit.
  • Coordinate capital forecasting and business planning, working closely with Finance and manufacturing sites across the five-year planning cycle.
  • Ensure effective governance of capital investment, supporting the development and approval of robust investment business cases.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Manufacturing Operations, Finance and site teams to enable effective portfolio decision-making.
