Job summary

Burnley College is seeking a Programme Leader for our Uniformed Public Services team to promote and provide an excellent learning experience, ensuring high achievement for all students. The role requires a degree or equivalent qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, with knowledge of current curriculum issues.

You will teach on a range of programmes, plan and evaluate teaching effectiveness, assess learner work, and provide pastoral support.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Knowledge of current issues relating to the curriculum area.
• Experience in planning and evaluating teaching to ensure high achievement and progression.

• Plan and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching across the Division's Curriculum.
