Job summary

Burnley College invites applications for a Programme Leader in Higher Education (BPS). You will lead the Higher Education team and oversee day-to-day running of the programmes across Crime, Criminal Justice, Business Management and Degree Apprenticeships, ensuring high achievement for all students.

With a PGCE or Certificate in Education and a relevant degree, you will have substantial experience in teaching and HE, and be committed to safeguarding, equality and the college charter.

Qualifications

• PGCE or Certificate in Education required.
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Substantial experience teaching in Higher Education.
• Experience leading HE programmes in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Higher Education team and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Teach up to 832 hours per year, relevant to subject specialization.
