Job summary

Burnley College seeks a Programme Leader in Engineering for the Sixth Form to lead administration and resource coordination, ensuring the cross-college programme runs successfully on-site. You will teach to subject specialism up to 832 hours per year and hold a degree with a recognised teaching qualification.

You will contribute to curriculum development, marketing and recruitment activities, and work within the Engineering division and wider College teams to promote excellence in education.

Qualifications

  • Experience of successful teaching of Apprentices at various levels.
  • Knowledge of current issues in Apprenticeships and EPAs relating to the curriculum area.

Responsibilities

  • Take leadership of the cross-college programme and contribute to divisional and College teams.
  • Involve in marketing operations of the College including recruitment and admissions of students to the Division.
  • On-site delivery and teaching up to 832 hours per year.

Programme Leader in Engineering (Sixth Form)

Burnley College are seeking a Programme Leader in Engineering, to join our award winning Engineering division to be responsible for the administration, co-ordination of resources (including staff), and successful operation and leadership of a cross-college programme.

You will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification, you will have the experience of successful teaching of Apprentices at various levels. You will also have knowledge of current issues in Apprenticeships and EPAs relating to the curriculum area.

Your responsibilities will include to contribute fully to divisional and College teams including sharing best practice and being involved in developing the curriculum, and to take an active part in the marketing operations of the College including the recruitment and admission of students to the Division.

The salary for this post is up to £47,271
