Job summary

CITB seeks a Programme Manager for Access & Scaffolding to lead the curriculum area at NCC South, Erith, overseeing quality, growth and strategic direction. The role demands strong leadership of staff and partnership with employers to expand apprenticeship and commercial training offerings.

You will manage delivery within a demanding construction sector context, ensuring compliance, financial viability and continuous improvement across the provision.

Qualifications

• Experience in education at management level.
• Level 3 vocational qualification relevant to Construction or Engineering.
• Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within two years).
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
• English and Maths at Level 2 or above.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Access & Scaffolding curriculum area with clear operational direction.
• Ensure provision meets Ofsted standards and funding requirements.
• Drive curriculum planning to ensure programmes are viable and aligned to industry needs.
• Develop lecturers, instructors and support teams to foster excellence in teaching and assessment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and curriculum performance reviews.
• Build strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
