Job summary

PSD Scotland is recruiting a Programme Director to lead a portfolio of sustainability data, analytics, AI and innovation, delivering data products and services with strategic direction and measurable outcomes.

You will define vision, set priorities, and manage investments while strengthening senior stakeholder relationships across NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government boundaries. The role is based in Edinburgh/Glasgow with hybrid working patterns.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience with accountability for high‑quality data services within a portfolio.
• Experience in portfolio management, setting strategic direction and translating vision into measurable outcomes, priorities and plans.
• Experience using data as evidence, to generate insight and performance information to inform decisions and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for sustainability data services.
• Set priorities and make investment decisions to deliver value.
• Lead the delivery of data products and services within the sustainability portfolio.
• Represent the function in the senior management team of the OCIO.
• Develop people and build high-performing teams across organisational boundaries.
