Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland seeks a Programme Director to lead a portfolio of sustainability data, analytics, AI and innovation. You will set strategic direction, govern investments and ensure data products deliver insight and value for NHS Scotland facilities and the circular economy.

You will shape policy, lead portfolio innovation including CivTech, EU Horizon activities and Living Labs, and build capability across the organisation while working with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience with accountability for high-quality data services within a portfolio.
• Experience in portfolio management, setting strategic direction and translating vision into measurable outcomes.
• Experience using data as evidence to generate insight and performance information for decisions.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across NHS Scotland and Scottish Government boundaries.
• Ability to work across organisational boundaries with subject matter experts and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Define a clear vision and strategy for sustainability data services, setting priorities and investment decisions.
• Lead the portfolio to deliver data products and services focused on sustainability and the circular economy.
• Provide professional leadership and ensure delivery of insights and value from data assets.
• Contribute to the senior management team in the Office of the CIO and build future capability.
• Develop people, build capability and foster high-performing teams across organisations.
