Job summary
SSEN Transmission in Scotland seeks a Programme and Project Manager to coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure delivery alignment with programme objectives. You will act as a PMO liaison, escalate risks, and contribute to continuous improvement in programme delivery.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, budget awareness, and experience with MSP/PRINCE2/PMP/APM/Scrum Master. 50% office attendance across Perth, Inverness & Aberdeen is expected.
Qualifications
- Experience in programme and project management.
- Familiarity with MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, APM, and Scrum Master.
- Proven delivery in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience integrating technical and operational requirements.
- Solid budget management experience and commercial awareness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and align all workstreams with programme objectives and ensure cross-team integration.
- Act as a key liaison with the PMO, providing regular updates and insights.
- Identify, assess and elevate risks and issues affecting delivery to PMO and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports to governance boards per timetable.
- Participate in governance forums and support decision-making.
