Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Senior Programme Assurance Manager to strengthen governance and control across its investment portfolio, in line with SSE’s Large Capital Project Policy. You will lead a strategic assurance framework, provide insight on programme performance and drive improvements in governance, assurance maturity and delivery discipline.

Based in Scotland, you’ll spend 50% of your time in the office in Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness, with a competitive package including car

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of major programme and portfolio delivery in regulated utilities.
Extensive experience in programme assurance and governance.
Credibility to engage senior stakeholders and influence decisions through complex delivery environments.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in a senior professional setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a strategic Business-Unit-led programme assurance framework for SSEN Transmission.
Provide strategic assurance insight on programme performance, governance and control effectiveness.
Drive improvements in programme governance, assurance maturity and delivery discipline.
Shape strategic business improvement through assurance-led insight.
Provide senior assurance leadership and trusted challenge across the business.
