Job Description:
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, development & direction to the team.
  • Responsibility for the performance of projects within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure Project Financial Reviews are performed in line with company process, supporting the UK Head of Projects to manage KPIs.
  • Champion the SQCDP process.
  • Assess and monitor the performance of project staff and support training of personnel in accordance with company needs in conjunction with the relevant Capability Leads and Learning & Development.
  • Prepare budgets for submission to the relevant Account Delivery Lead.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and achieve maximum efficiency and economy.
  • Drive continuous improvement within your area of responsibility.
  • Liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure customer quality requirements are understood and met.
  • Implement corrective actions following internal audits.
  • Ensure the security of confidential data and information from clients.
  • Develop strategies that deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Contact new clients in new markets to expand the business.
  • Sell products and services provided by the business.
  • Propose development and acquisition of new equipment and skills.
  • Ensure each bid and project is adequately staffed and organized for efficiency.
  • Encourage employees and customers to participate in growing the business, maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Manage contracts, including negotiations, amendments, work variations, and financial progress monitoring.
Qualifications
  • HND/degree level in Engineering, Project Management, or Business/Operational Management, or demonstrated experience and capability.
  • PMP or APM certification preferred.
Essential skills

  • Exceptional KPI ownership and delivery focus.
  • High contractual and financial acumen.
  • Experience in Aerospace/Defence sector, preferably within Engineering Services.
  • Experience in performance management of teams and people.
  • Proven experience leading strategic programmes.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
