Job summary
Callerton Academy, in Newcastle upon Tyne, hosts the MCR Pathways mentoring programme in partnership with MCR Pathways. The Programme Coordinator will work with staff, mentors and external partners to deliver impactful activities for students.
The role emphasizes safeguarding, motivation, and supporting young people to reach their potential. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the school community, helping to run mentoring sessions, train volunteers, and coordinate programme
Qualifications
- Experience working with young people.
- Awareness and understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties.
- Positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Role model for motivation and resilience.
- Ability to present programme information and deliver prepared training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver the MCR Pathways mentoring programme within Callerton Academy.
- Work closely with staff, mentors and external stakeholders to facilitate activities.
- Deliver prepared training sessions to groups and monitor progress.
- Support safeguarding, wellbeing and progression of learners within the programme.
