Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of the Babcock International Group, is seeking a Programme Controls Manager for a permanent role at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset. The role leads strategic controls across a major UK nuclear programme and ensures rigorous governance and reporting.

You will manage schedule, cost, risk and forecasting, building a high-performing controls team while delivering continuous improvement and robust programme performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading programme controls teams in highly regulated industries.
• Experience with governance, reporting, and performance frameworks.
• Experience overseeing schedule, cost, risk, change and forecasting processes.
• Experience providing assurance, insight and performance analysis to senior leadership teams.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement within complex programme environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate programme controls across the MEH Alliance programme.
• Establish controls standards, governance frameworks and reporting cycles.
• Lead schedule, cost, risk, change and forecasting reviews to drive programme performance.
• Develop, mentoring and resourcing a high-performing programme controls team.
• Produce programme performance reports and drive continuous improvement across programme controls capability.
