About GroupM Nexus:

GroupM Nexus UK is a community of more than 1000 specialists comprising Search, Social, Programmatic & Display, and Ad Tech Ops Practice Squads from across the GroupM agencies. It is designed to accelerate GroupM clients’ businesses by leveraging the power and capabilities of GroupM and its agencies, through partnerships with leading digital platforms, advanced accreditations, and industry benchmarks.

The Team:

We are a team of approximately 5 people working on clients such as Jet2, Vimto, Dr Oetker. We are now looking for a new Programmatic Account Manager to join our growing Programmatic team based in Manchester.

The Role:

The Programmatic Account Manager will manage and optimise campaigns, develop programmatic plans that exceed client expectations, and contribute to the execution of programmatic media activity. You will work closely with the programmatic account director and global hub teams to execute strategy and develop insightful data analysis commentary.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management
  • Oversee implementation, management, and daily optimisation of campaigns to meet objectives and KPIs
  • Create media plans to achieve KPIs
  • Understand relevant products and solutions within the group
  • Manage testing plans, suggest innovative ideas, and evaluate results
Client and Partner Management
  • Design programmatic strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Maintain regular client contact and present performance reports
  • Analyse campaign results and provide recommendations
  • Build relationships with media owners and service providers
People Management
  • Manage junior team members, monitor workloads, and ensure deadlines
  • Train and develop team members, motivate and lead by example
Operational Excellence
  • Utilise tools for accountability, efficiency, and insights
  • Ensure financial accuracy and reconcile spends
  • Support QA processes locally and globally
Skills & Experience
  • Passion for programmatic activation and excellence
  • Confidence in platforms like DV360, TTD, Amazon
  • Ability to explain technical points to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with large data sets
  • Experience developing testing roadmaps in programmatic media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective communication across diverse backgrounds
