Job summary

Softcat in Manchester is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the Strategy, Architecture & Transformation initiatives, translating strategy into actionable delivery across technology and business domains.

You'll work with the Head of Strategy & Architecture, Lead Enterprise Architect and Senior Solutions Architects, ensuring priorities are aligned, dependencies understood and outcomes delivered in a highly visible role.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Architecture, the Programme Manager provides the operational backbone of the Strategy, Architecture & Transformation capability. This role is responsible for helping translate strategy into execution, ensuring that technology strategy activities, architecture capability development and transformation initiatives are effectively coordinated, tracked and aligned to business outcomes. Working closely with the Head of Strategy & Architecture, Lead Enterprise Architect and Senior Solutions Architects, you will provide visibility, coordination and governance across the strategic agenda, helping to ensure priorities remain aligned, dependencies are understood and outcomes are delivered. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to help establish a new organisational capability, influence strategic decision making and play a pivotal role in Softcat's technology transformation journey.
