Job description

Description

We are seeking an experienced French and English-speaking Program Manager to lead, streamline, and elevate our processes and drive program improvement and optimization within the Amazon Last Mile Expansion business in EU. This role requires a program manager who can not only manage but also innovate and strategize at a high level. The Program Manager will leverage their extensive experience with data analytics to automate our processes, significantly increase our efficiency, and enable us to deliver larger-scale results.

Program Overview

The Amazon Last Mile Expansion program is a new model designed to enable Amazon to support speed initiatives and on-demand capacity in the EU. This program is powered by a sophisticated mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems, allowing operators to onboard, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are disruptive and promise to challenge traditional approaches, potentially revolutionizing industry operations.

The successful candidate will be experienced in program management and optimization. They will be self-motivated, passionate, analytically proficient, and detail-oriented, possessing superior interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal Program Manager will be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment, leveraging their extensive background to make high-impact decisions.

A strong bias for action and a deep comfort with complex data analysis are absolute musts for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of delivering results, with examples of successfully leading high-impact projects. The ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools, and Large Language Models (LLMs) are a must in this role.

Key job responsibilities
  • Find opportunities to automate and optimize existing Last Mile processes. This includes, but not limited to, our under the roof processes and on road processes.
  • You will partner with the Amazon Logistics operations and central strategy teams to deploy program, process and station improvements. Another part of the role will be recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholder management skills to put new processes in place.
  • Partner with WW Flex / Last Mile teams to understand common challenges to adopt standard practice and identify opportunities to collaborate with tech teams to build automated tooling and solutions to hand off our processes.
  • Support the expansion of the Last Mile Speed program across EU through extension of existing processes, and creation of new ones where applicable.
