This role supports the Litigation division within the firm's Knowledge Management department, which includes other PSLs and a library manager. The focus will be on:

• Keeping the team updated on legal and procedural updates through regular internal communications.
• Curating and producing know-how resources, and handling fee earner queries.
• Collaborating to identify and develop best practices.
• Delivering or coordinating technical and other training for teams and clients.
• Supporting departmental business development, profile raising, and staying ahead of legal developments and technology.

Purpose of the job

This role is a maternity cover of up to 12 months, with potential for permanence. It involves supporting the Litigation division in knowledge management activities, including updating legal resources, delivering training, and contributing to business development.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Knowledge sharing and technical training delivery.
• Updating and creating resources and best practice procedures, with a focus on commercial/contract law if applicable.
• Producing materials for client updates, articles, webinars, and podcasts.
• Supporting client and intermediary training and updates.

Professional Skills:

• Ability to develop and deliver seminars and training sessions.
• Deep understanding of litigation and dispute resolution law and practice, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

The successful candidate will have significant litigation experience in England & Wales, preferably with some PSL experience, and a strong academic record.

General skills required:

• Strong communication skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Prezi, Webex, or Adobe Connect is a plus.
