Job summary

Custom Intelligent Security is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to support upgrades, migrations, and remote end-user assistance via the Technical Helpdesk. You will oversee the execution of technical jobs and ensure high-quality client satisfaction.

The role includes attending client sites for onboarding and complex integrations, requiring strong technical and communication skills. The position emphasizes hands-on delivery, project management, and collaboration with the Commercial Team

• Proficiency with Windows fault-finding and diagnostics.
• MS Office suite proficiency for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with structured cabling systems and site installations.
• Ability to interpret proposals, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical work and aftercare for upgrades and migrations.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to align with expectations.
• Lead deployment, installation, and configuration of hardware/software per specs.
• Customize solutions; scripting or integration work as needed.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance to help clients leverage system capabilities.
• Escalate and mitigate complex issues during delivery.
• Support commercial and aftercare teams with client meetings and demonstrations.
