DAC Beachcroft in Leeds is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Professional Indemnity team. You will handle a mix of professional negligence claims and conduct both pre-action and litigated matters, with support from Partners.

Qualifications

• PI experience or related insurance litigation background.
• Strong client-handling skills with professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage day-to-day issues with clients confidently.
• Self-sufficient in managing a caseload aligned with experience.
• Flexible and collaborative, willing to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients regularly and share knowledge on key issues.
• Handle a mixed workload of professional negligence claims.
• Conduct pre-action and litigated matters with real-time support.
• Own a caseload while supporting Partners and junior Fee Earners.
• Engage with experts and counsel to direct the work.
• Utilize mediation and ADR where appropriate.
