Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join the Professional and Commercial Risk team in Leeds. The role focuses on Professional Indemnity claims, with a chance to grow and contribute to a nationally and internationally active practice.

You will handle a mixed negligence workload, manage your own caseload, and work closely with Partners while mentoring junior staff. Collaboration with experts and counsel is encouraged for bespoke client solutions.

Qualifications

• Professional indemnity expertise and experience in PI claims.
• Strong client handling and relationship skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently.
• Experience with alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
• Willingness to support Partners and supervise juniors.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients regularly and provide informed advice.
• Handle a mixed workload of professional negligence claims for various professionals.
• Conduct both pre-action and litigated matters with real-time project support.
• Manage your own caseload while supporting Partners and supervising junior fee earners.
• Engage with experts and counsel to direct our work.
