Ips Group is recruiting an Account Handler for its Professional Indemnity division in the UK. You will support Account Executives, manage renewals and policy administration, and handle client enquiries while building strong relationships with clients and insurers.

Following continued growth within its Professional Indemnity division, this highly regarded insurance broker is looking to appoint an Account Handler to join a specialist team working with professional clients across a broad range of Professional Indemnity risks.

Working as part of an established and collaborative team, you’ll support Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client portfolios, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, policy administration and client enquiries while building strong relationships with both clients and insurers. The role offers exposure to a varied Professional Indemnity portfolio spanning multiple professions and provides an excellent opportunity to develop specialist technical knowledge within a respected market niche.

This position would suit either an experienced Professional Indemnity Handler or somebody from a wider commercial insurance background who is keen to specialise. Technical expertise can be developed, but you’ll need strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

Candidates will ideally have previous experience within an insurance broking environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Experience using Acturis would be advantageous but is not essential.
