Job summary

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is recruiting an Account Handler for an established London insurance brokerage. You will manage renewal client portfolios, deliver high-quality service and drive toward monthly targets.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) with a starting salary of £25,000 plus monthly bonuses and commissions, increasing after probation; OTE around £35,000 initially and further earning potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance broking, account handling or renewals would be advantageous.
• Interest in developing a career within Professional Indemnity insurance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage and broker renewal cases (approximately 20–30 per month).
• Handle policies with premiums typically £250–£5,000.
• Prepare and issue renewal invitations 6–8 weeks before renewal dates.
• Manage multiple renewal cycles and meet deadlines.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the policy year.
• Handle mid-term adjustments and general client enquiries.
• Negotiate renewal terms and insurance solutions.
• Work toward achievable monthly targets.
• Maintain accurate client records and administration quality.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and broker approximately 20–30 individual renewal cases per month.
• Handle policies with premiums typically ranging from £250 to £5,000.
• Prepare and issue renewal invitations approximately 6–8 weeks ahead of renewal dates.
• Manage multiple renewal cycles simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the policy year.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments and general client enquiries.
• Negotiate renewal terms and ensure clients receive appropriate insurance solutions.
• Work towards achievable monthly performance targets.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure a high standard of administration.

Salary & Bonus Structure

The position offers an attractive salary package with clear progression following successful completion of probation.

Starting Package:

• Basic salary of £25,000 per annum.
• Monthly bonuses for achieving the monthly target.
