Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or accommodation cleaning experience is desirable
• Experience in hotels, student accommodation, serviced apartments or private houses would be advantageous
• Experience with bed making and changing bed linen
• Good eye for detail and pride in high standards
• Good communication and patient customer service skills
• Friendly, professional and adaptable to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Keep accommodation to a high standard: clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring high presentation
• Prepare bedrooms and accommodation: make beds, replenish linen, towels and supplies
• Carry out duties thoroughly and efficiently, ensuring every room meets the required standard
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene: follow schedules and report maintenance issues promptly
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies and products
• Work as part of a team and communicate with colleagues and supervisors
• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly
• Interact with residents, guests and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner
