Job summary

Protyre is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager in Banbury to lead daily operations, ensuring quality service and safety across the centre. The role requires an MOT licence and a full UK driving licence, with potential for bonus and career development.

You will support the Centre Manager, allocate work to technicians, and drive excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety. This permanent, full-time position offers a strong salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Assistant Manager or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring targets and business objectives are met.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Allocate work effectively to technicians to maximise productivity and maintain high standards.
• Maintain strong operational standards, including cleanliness, stock control and compliance.
• Assist with MOT testing, servicing and vehicle maintenance duties when required.

Assistant Centre Manager role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety and excellent customer service. Location: Banbury

Pay / salary: up to £34,000 basic per annum

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am – 4pm (with day off in week)
