A permanent, full-time Assistant Manager role in a busy automotive service centre in Southampton. The successful candidate will bring a strong automotive background and move into a hands-on management position, supporting the Centre Manager in daily operations and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Manager with the daily running of the site and support effective team leadership
• Help monitor centre performance, sales activity and operational standards
• Ensure customers receive a professional, efficient and helpful service throughout their visit
• Spend time in the workshop supporting technicians as well as assisting with customer-facing duties
• Support colleagues with guidance, on-the-job coaching and day-to-day problem solving
• Help maintain safe working practices and compliance with centre procedures
• Use internal systems to help organise work, track activity and keep the centre operating smoothly
