Job summary

Gi Group Scunthorpe is recruiting a Forklift / Production Operator to join our customer’s team in Gainsborough. The temporary role requires a valid Counterbalance licence and experience in food manufacturing or machine operation.

You will perform general warehouse and production tasks, with on‑the‑job training to upskill into machine operation. Overtime is regularly available.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance licence with recent operating experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced food production environment (low risk).

Gi Group Scunthorpe is recruiting for a Forklift / Production Operator to join our customer's team, based in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading global business in the ingredients, taste, and nutrition food sector, and this position offers a rare opportunity to work within their dynamic team.

This is a temporary position ideal for candidates who have a valid Counterbalance licence and experience in food manufacturing or machine operation.

Hours of Work for Forklift / Production Operator:

• * Rotating mornings, afternoons, and nights (8-hour shifts), with flexibility required for occasional 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday ( R.O.P £18.12 per hour )
• Working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (R.O.P £13.45 per hour )

Rate of Pay for Forklift / Production Operator:

Pay varies between departments. Confirmed rates will be discussed during registration. Overtime is regularly available.
