Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced MIG and Spot Welders to join a busy production environment in Wolverhampton. This role is based on 06:00–14:30, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £14.00 per hour, and is Temporary to Permanent.

You will perform manual MIG welding, spot welding and tack welding as part of the manufacture of vehicle restraint systems. A practical weld test will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience.
• Experience with manual welding.
• Spot welding and/or tack welding experience.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work to production targets.
• Willingness to complete a practical weld test.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30

The Role

This is a production-based welding role working on the manufacture of vehicle restraint systems.

You will be responsible for manual MIG welding, spot welding and tack welding as part of the manufacturing process.

Please note: This is NOT an automated welding position. Candidates will be required to complete a practical weld test as part of the recruitment process.
