Job summary

A client company in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Production Technician to join their growing team. The role involves assisting with assembly, finishing moulded parts, and supporting the production schedule on a day shift.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience (2 years or a BTEC Level qualification) and be proficient with conventional workshop power and hand tools. The position requires adherence to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience or a BTEC Level qualification.
• Able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly and finish of moulded parts with attention to quality.
• Assist in preparation of mouldings to support production schedule.
• Assist in cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded equipment.
• Assist in other areas of manufacturing as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in production of sub-assemblies as required.
• Assist in training other personnel including new operatives.
• Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state.
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures and company policies.

Our clients are leaders servicing a niche industry. They are recruiting a Production Technician to join their growing team!

Production Technician Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader. Adopting good workmanship standards, paying particular attention to quality
• Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule
• Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded equipment
• Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as direct by your line supervisor
• Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required
• Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required
• Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state
• Operates in accordance with the company's Health and Safety procedure, and other related company policies

The ideal Production Technician will:

• Previously worked within a manufacturing environment
• 2 years' experience or BTEC Level qualification
• Able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools

Working hours 07:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday
