Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Totnes is seeking a hands-on Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. You will be involved in assembly, testing, calibration and inspection of highly engineered products in a modern facility, delivering quality and on-time production to customers worldwide.

The role requires practical assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow production schedules and drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is essential.
• Ability to follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Understanding of technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and inspect products, sensors, prototypes and special builds.
• Carry out product calibration and quality inspections.
• Follow manufacturing processes and build documentation accurately.
• Complete production records, traceability documentation and test reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production.
• Monitor stock levels of manufacturing consumables.
• Ensure compliance with quality, ESD, COSHH and health & safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work area.
• Collaborate with fellow Production Technicians and production leadership.

Are you an experienced Production Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality? We're looking for a hands‑on Production Technician to join a thriving manufacturing environment where innovation, precision, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

This Production Technician opportunity offers the chance to work on the assembly, testing, calibration, and inspection of highly engineered products in a modern production facility. As a Production Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are built to the highest quality standards and delivered on time to customers worldwide.

The Role

As a Production Technician, you will:

• Assemble, test and inspect products, sensors, prototypes and special builds
