Job Description

Shift: Nights, 6pm-6am, 4 on 4 off - Due to the shift rotation, you will need to be available to work across every day of the week if relevant.

£17.28 per hour

Team and Role Overview

Our production team is vital to our operation. They work to plan, pick, pack, and move boxes efficiently through the fulfilment centre. Our goal is for customers to receive their orders 'On Time In Full' with around 100 recipes to choose from weekly. As a team leader, you will lead the team in daily activities to deliver the production plan and handle escalations from the team and section leaders.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with and communicate shift targets in senior leadership meetings and daily huddles.
• Ensure health and safety are prioritized and considered in plans, actions, and activities.
• Help build, train, and develop high-performing teams, defining clear career progression opportunities, and conducting 1-1s and regular feedback sessions.
• Conduct initial employee relations meetings including return-to-work and first-stage absence reviews.
• Perform safety checks on all equipment used in production and monitor worker activities.
• Responsible for meeting quality assurance standards.
• Maintain communication with related departments like technical and engineering to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
• Ensure worker scheduling and attendance records are accurate and up to date.

• Knowledge of warehouse fulfillment and target importance.
• A dedicated team worker ensuring on-time, in-full delivery for customers.
• Excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• High computer literacy, especially in Google Sheets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of leading team briefs.
• Experience with employee relations including return-to-work and absence reviews.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2
• HACCP advantageous but not essential
