Job summary

Wienerberger UK & Ireland is seeking a Production Shift Manager for the Denton site in North Manchester. You will lead a shift in high-volume manufacturing, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and work with maintenance and QA to optimise the process.

The role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing experience and a focus on continuous improvement. Benefits include a competitive salary and performance bonus, along with health and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment with high-volume output.
• Strong focus on health and safety and safeWorking culture.
• Experience supervising staff and managing performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations meet target volumes, yield and efficiency.
• Analyse production data to drive performance improvements.
• Use RCA, 5 Whys and Fishbone to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform and review risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to support a culture.
• Identify training requirements for staff.
• Investigate accidents, injuries or near misses.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
