FIXED TERM - 5 MONTH OPPORTUNITY

Driving Production, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Safety achievement for the production process by managing Lead Operatives, Production Operatives, and other resources. The Production Team Leader will have full responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Production Shift Manager by managing resources and processes to meet daily manufacturing requirements.
2. Work in accordance with all health and safety requirements.
3. Ensure handling of materials and products meet quality standards.
4. Ensure all workstations are correctly equipped and all documentation is completed.
5. Allocate tasks to Operatives based on training and production needs.
6. Monitor performance against production targets and address issues.
7. Manage line clearance, setup, and housekeeping of work areas.
8. Verify completion of records and documentation to high standards.
9. Continuously seek improvements in resources, equipment, and efficiency.
10. Manage PPE compliance and liaise with training and HR departments.
11. Oversee activity of employees and ensure resource availability for plans.
12. Act as the senior person on-site outside day shifts in the absence of the Production Shift Manager.

Essential Experience:

• Significant experience leading teams in manufacturing.
• Experience in employee relations management.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in electronic assembly operations.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
