A leading manufacturing company in Liverpool is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production lines, manage staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the production environment, coupled with technical qualifications. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits including a pension scheme and health programs.
Responsibilities:
• Set to standards and operate production lines to deliver budgeted target speeds
• Identify and promote line and process improvements, CI & Lean manufacturing principles• Ownership of Production Plan adherence and order completion including Barcode scanning of material
• Completion of all production documentation and reports• Drives and owns safety standards and compliance. Reporting and near miss delivery
• Training and mentoring staff allocated to the line / team. Developing line personnel and to have input into any competency assessments or performance reviews
• KPI delivery - Monitors line efficiency, downtime, contributing in relevant action plans in order to make improvements when required
• Waste management, control and segregation• Ensures correct implementation of the required WCP standards
• Responsible for TPM tasks associated with the line, cleaning and lubrication
• Environmental commitments within the business
Person Specification
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years working in a production environment
• Demonstrable role experience in technical and maintenance tasks
Qualifications:• NVQ Level 2 in a related qualification i.e. manufacturing processes or equivalent through experience
• Technical maintenance qualification or experience
Knowledge:
• Good knowledge of Safety, Environmental, Hygiene and Quality procedures in a production environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft office• Problem solving capabilities
• Able to work as part of a team or as an individual
• Good communicator at all levels
• Literate in compiling detailed reports and documentation
• Flexible with regards to operational needs and roles
• Willing to support change and to look for opportunities for improvement
Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £34,000.00-£37,000.00 per year

You can work Monday to Friday working two shifts 6-2 or 2-10 shift. Some weekend work might be required as overtime.
