Production Team Leader
Location: Grantham
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 3:45pm, Friday 7:45am – 3:15pm
hours a week
Pay rate: To be discussed in application

Our client is a global manufacturing company, specialising in providing engineering solutions to an extensive list of high-profile companies. This Production Team Leader role will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of hydraulics and valves for various industries.

The successful Production Team Leader will be responsible for:

• Producing hydraulic components using hand tools and machinery,
• Following standard operating procedures in order to assemble components in a timely manner, accurately and to the quality expected,
• Operate and monitor assembly line machines,
• Escalate line problems to supervisors,
• Performs minor assembly line set up duties in preparation of assembly operations,
• Inspection of all work, ensuring that any defects are identified,
• Complete paperwork as required,
• Keeps work area clean and tidy,
• Observing safety rules at all times,

The ideal Production Team Leader will have:

• Previous experience working within a production, manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
• Technical knowledge and ability to read SOPs, blueprints, drawings etc.
• Ability to use hand tools,
• Good understanding of quality control principles,
• Good communication skills (verbal and written),
